Hiatus Again

Sorry. You have probably noticed that I’ve been failing to post on my usual schedule lately. Non-blog life is once again rearing its ugly head in a higher-priority way.

For the next few weeks, likely through the holidays, I will be engaged in another of my quixotic efforts at attaining actual employment. Everybody keep fingers crossed.

So, once again, I am officially declaring a Bad Money Advice hiatus. And, once again, let me take this opportunity to thank all the members of my ego-boosting cult-like following. Please try and notice that I am not around.

All the best and happy holidays!

Wait. Are we supposed to keep fingers crossed for you, and your finding a job, or for us, and you not finding a job and having time to blog?

Cults are great. You have more fun as a follower, but make more money as a leader.

I’m with Tyler. I don’t think we’ll have our fingers crossed for the same thing you will! :)

    Good luck, Mr. Curmudgeon.

Good luck with the employment opportunities. I would think the holiday season would have had lots of possibilities of Bad Money Advice and spending. I’ll miss the posts.

As someone else currently seeking employment opportunities, how do you feel about salaried postions? I’m beginning to think they’re for suckers.

But good luck in your endeavors.

    Luck!

Firms don’t hire during the holidays … you might as well write. Plus, if an employer looks at your website, you will just appear to be someone who doesn’t follow through … a classic job hopper.

    Hurry back.

Make sure to put “Authors a financial flog with cult-like following” on your resume.

Good luck. Though why would you want to go find a real job? From my experience once Thanksgiving rolls around most hiring doesn’t start again until January 1st. That is unless you are looking to work at Toy R Us at the checkout counter.

Serious question though, why not monetize this site?

    Good luck with your endeavors!

Please hurry back. The PF blog-o-sphere sadly misses your amazing wit.

I find flaws with both the aurther and Ramsey.

Short answer is there no one fits all plan.

There are some good practices (habits) that are in general one size fits all.
